Mead pointed to the office's stated mission "to preserve the integrity of elections and promote public awareness and participation in the electoral process" and said the current website does not reflect that goal for Luna County constituents. She asked the board to encourage county elections staff to publish local filing requirements, deadlines and application forms.
Commissioners did not take a formal vote on Mead's request during the public-comment session.
