The Lea County Board of County Commissioners voted June 1 to approve entertainment contracts and associated fees for the 2025 Lee County Fair and Rodeo.
Fair staff and the fair board presented Resolution 25‑Jun‑168R and described a lineup of headline performers and a schedule of nightly themes; staff said entertainment artist fees for the year total $1,420,000. The proposal also included a variety of smaller stage acts and strolling performers for the fairgrounds. A motion to approve the entertainment contracts was made, seconded and carried by unanimous roll call.
The fair presentation noted ticketing information and promotional details will be published on leecountyfair.net; staff said the entertainment budget is separate from other fair operating expenses and will be managed by the fairgrounds office.
Next steps: fair staff will finalize and execute artist contracts and publish the final performance schedule and ticketing details to the county’s event web page.
