She listed her responsibilities as overseeing workforce grant programs, health programs and the Delta Leadership Institute and said she has worked at DRA for more than five years.
Talantis also said she was "echoing" a remark by DRA's first co-chairman, Pete Johnson, that the agency's ultimate hope is for the region to become sufficiently successful that DRA would no longer be necessary. Talantis used that aspiration to frame the agency’s long-term mission to build local leadership capacity.
