The Falmouth Conservation Commission took several procedural and enforcement actions during the meeting.
An enforcement order was approved for unpermitted work at 41 Mary Manuel Way after staff presented the case; commissioners moved and seconded to issue the enforcement order and the roll call recorded unanimous affirmation.
By contrast, an after-the-fact notice of intent for a pool, deck and an unpermitted fieldstone wall at 70 Carrie Lane did not receive an order of conditions. Staff summarized the project and previous orders; a motion to approve the order of conditions failed on a roll call and the commission did not issue the order.
The commission continued a matter for 0 Davisville Road to March 4 at the applicant’s request, and it closed and took under advisement a continued dredging hearing for Grove PT Marina (366 & 470 Monat/Acapessa Road), asking that the applicant and staff revisit shoreline vegetation in spring and submit any required revegetation plans. For several items the commission also noted quorum constraints that required moving some decisions to subsequent meetings.
The meeting ended with a motion to adjourn and verbal approval.
