Recreation Services manager Garrett Craig said the on-field experience was well received last year by the 30 participants who attended.
Councilmember Kalani moved to purchase 1,000 tickets (option B, vs. the Brewers), approve the on-field VIP photo option and authorize staff to resell tickets at the city's purchase cost with no subsidy; the motion carried with Council member Gerson absent.
Staff said last year roughly 40 unsold tickets remained and that the group-sale rate presented to council is a discount compared with regular retail pricing. The council instructed staff to proceed with ticket procurement and resale logistics.
