"The requirement by the Department of Local Government Finance has to be posted on their website 10 days prior to the public hearing," Christine said; trustees approved the advertisement and discussed a hearing date of September 18.
On capital planning, Mr. Reed recommended entering a contract with Darman Yoder and Associates to begin design and planning work. He said the firm’s proposal uses a $3,000,000 project estimate and that the overall fee is "about 5%" of that amount. The board approved the contract 5 to 0 so staff can start design phases.
