Prairie Heights officials report holiday programs, food drives and furniture move over break

Speaker 5 announced facilities logistics tied to furniture replacement during the break: the building will be open 8 a.m.–noon on Saturday to offer old student desks and teacher tables to the community, and movers will complete installation of new furniture before students return. Speaker 5 also invited staff and trustees to a staff breakfast at 7:15 a.m.
The meeting closed with a brief discussion about parent-teacher conference turnout; Speaker 4 said roughly 40% of parents attended and staff follow up by phone for students with low grades to ensure contact.
