Superintendent Dr. Bennett presented the budget and asked trustees to approve the package "as presented," noting that "once approved, Mrs. Glover will upload all resolutions and budget related documents into gateway for the DLGF approval." After Dr. Bennett moved the motion, a board member seconded and the board recorded unanimous approval.
The superintendent told trustees they already have a copy of the presentation in the board portal and that the administration will proceed with the procedural steps required for state review. The board did not amend the budget on the floor and no public testimony on the budget was recorded.
The board will take no further action at this meeting; Dr. Bennett said a more detailed facilities update tied to the budget process will be presented at the board retreat on Nov. 8.
