Board accepts new first-grade hire and acknowledges nine teachers who acquired Michigan tenure

Personnel lead Alex presented the items, naming Sierra Fritch as the recommended new hire. Alex also listed nine teachers who qualified for Michigan tenure through the district’s recognition processes: Erica Gale, Tiffany Hinton, Paige Johnson, Kelly Lanigan, Rebecca Mason, Maureen Pecarella, Angela Pickett, Caitlin Pisanti and Danica Stavnick. Trustees moved to accept the hire and to acknowledge the tenure list; both motions were approved by voice vote and roll call as recorded.
The board thanked staff and leadership for a successful year and noted the hiring work underway for the upcoming term.
