Community theater donates $2,315 to Bedford High School theater

Representatives of the Bedford Community Players presented a check for $2,315 to support the Bedford High School Theater Department.
Tara Althouse, president of the Bedford Community Players, and Cassie Crimmel, the group's secretary and a Bedford graduate, described their partnership with the high school theater and said the donation represents the profit from their recent production of Frozen Junior, which sold out three of four performances. They said the group hopes to continue work with the high school and expand student opportunities.
"As Bedford Community Players, we strive to create positive and enriching theater experiences for all children in our productions," Cassie Crimmel said. The board moved to accept the donation and thanked the group for supporting student opportunities and for helping maintain the renovated theater.
Administration said the partnership helps provide on-stage and backstage experiences for students and contributes to ongoing theater renovation and programming.
