Carl said the renewal would remain at about 0.9866 mills and he estimated the countywide allocation yields roughly $1.3 million for Bedford Public Schools.
Board member Amy moved to approve the resolution asking the ISD to place the regional enhancement millage for technology on the ballot; the board approved the motion by roll call vote with all voting members present voting yes and one excused.
Why this matters: The enhancement millage supports instructional technology and related services that districts typically cannot fund from general per-pupil dollars. Superintendent Carl emphasized that passage would not raise rates for taxpayers and that the funds have long been integral to classroom technology and learning supports.
