Breskowitz said the school had about 639 students in the October snapshot and described Spanish-immersion class structures by grade. She outlined achievement targets based on early assessments: a math goal moving from 62.77% to 64% proficiency and a reading goal moving from 50.54% to 52.4% at spring measurement, using the district's FAST testing data. She described tiered interventions—MTSS, ATSS and Title I supports—used for students identified as low risk or at higher tiers of need.
Breskowitz also described climate and culture programming (Tiger tune-ups, regular staff and student recognition), outdoor education partnerships (Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge for fourth-grade trips) and training plans for teachers around the district’s adopted reading curriculum.
Board members applauded the principal’s emphasis on classroom observations and teacher evaluation cycles; the presentation was informational and did not require board action.
