The student also reported extracurricular updates: concerts concluded for the music program, the band is preparing for a May competition at Darien Lake, and the boys’ varsity basketball team won their home tournament while the boys’ bowling team remained undefeated. The student highlighted a speaker series visit by Meggie Myers, general manager of the Amsterdam Mohawks, and said county Sheriff Jeff Smith is scheduled to speak to seniors the following day.
