Superintendent highlights Civic Seal approval, restored pre-K and October visit by state senator

The superintendent said the approval will create student-driven capstone opportunities and partnerships in the community.
He also said the district restored one section of pre-kindergarten at the start of the year and welcomed the classroom opening; the superintendent described this as the right move for young learners. He welcomed the new central offices services clerk and thanked staff and community partners who supported the start of the year.
The superintendent said he and an administrator will meet with ex officio student board member Missabella Hovind in a statewide meeting with the New York State School Board Association and NYSED, and that Senator Jacob Ashby will visit the district in October to discuss rural school issues and fiscal challenges. The superintendent closed by thanking the board and staff.
