Board hears update on Safe Schools Assurances and plans new emergency-notification roll-out

The staff member said training for staff will occur when schools return from the Christmas break.
The speaker noted the assurances are reviewed on a five-year cycle by PED and that most school safety protocols (reunification sites, drills, and response protocols) remain unchanged; the district's update consists mainly of staff contact and notification improvements.
