Chambersburg Area SD board elects committee representatives, names tax‑board appointees

The Chambersburg Area School District board completed its reorganizational business Tuesday, approving nominations and appointments to several interdistrict bodies and county committees.

President Mr. Piper opened nominations for the Joint Committee of the Franklin Learning Center and the board approved three one‑year alternate seats by voice vote after nominees accepted. The motion to close nominations carried and the president said, "All those in favor, signify by saying aye," after which the chair declared, "Ayes have it."
