District signals intent to sell BSC property to Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society

Board members asked logistical questions about moving district operations to the YMCA and the timing of YMCA occupancy. Administration said the YMCA anticipates an occupancy permit around Jan. 1, 2026, and the district plans a phased move with an official vacate/move-out target around July 1, 2026, allowing for early access for large areas and staged relocation of offices and equipment. The presenter also noted that the historical society currently stores items in the basement of the education center and that the district had previously authorized that storage arrangement.
