The Spring Grove Area School District board approved a suite of personnel actions Oct. 27, 2025, including a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Spring Grove Education Association to provide virtual instruction synchronized with in-person classes for a period of 18 months.
Mr. Stein presented the personnel slate, describing item (a) as: "approval of the attached memorandum of understanding between Spring Grove Area School District and Spring Grove Education Association for to provide virtual instruction to SG Lehi students, synchronously with and in some manner as in person students of her class for a period of 18 months, the the first semester of the 20 five-twenty 6 school year." The board moved to approve item (a) separately and then voted to approve the remaining personnel items (appointments, transfers, substitutes and support-staff substitutes) by roll call.
Among the named administrative appointments approved were Dr. Randy Payne as acting elementary assistant principal (effective as early as Oct. 28, 2025), a transfer of Dr. Colleen Donnelly to assistant principal at Spring Grove Area Intermediate School, and an assistant high-school principal appointment for Daniel Koyshaw (start date late December/early January). The board also approved listed teacher appointments, extracurricular assignments and substitute rostering as presented.
The board acknowledged confidential personnel memos and offered welcomes to the administrators who will assume new roles. Several items were approved as part of the personnel package; the transcript shows affirmative roll-call votes but does not provide a complete numerical tally for each separate line item.
