Spring Grove reports SG Flex enrollment growth, cites transportation and cybercharter competition

Administrators also pointed to competition from cybercharters, saying those providers routinely provide devices, Wi‑Fi and stipends in ways the district currently does not. Dr. Dietrich described regulatory changes that require virtual check‑ins and more frequent monitoring for off‑pace students, and he said the district is exploring options such as a ‘cyber cafe’ on campus or greater synchronous course offerings to improve access and retention.
