Board renews Arts Academy charter; director Fitzpatrick to retire, successor named

Carl Eisenhart addressed the board after Fitzpatrick and said he was looking forward to leading the school: "I'm really looking forward to...taking the school into some new places, over the next few years and building on what we've worked on for the last 13." The board expressed appreciation for Fitzpatrick’s service and wished him well in retirement.
The renewal resolution for the Arts Academy charter on Emmaus Avenue was presented as part of consent items and was approved by the board during the meeting. No additional conditions or amendments were recorded in the public discussion.
