At the Nov. 5 Operations & Finance meeting, the committee reviewed a Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) resolution urging the state legislature to pass a complete and responsible state budget.
Riccobani introduced the PSBA text and Dawn summarized its purpose: the resolution asks school districts to send a unified message pressing the General Assembly to act on a full budget. The committee agreed to add the resolution to the next regular board meeting agenda; members noted that if the legislature passes a budget beforehand, the board may not need to take action.
No formal vote was taken at the committee meeting; the resolution will be before the full board if the administration places it on the November agenda.
