Dorney said off‑site practice logistics (limited practice days, travel and bus scheduling) create barriers for athletes who also participate in other sports or vo‑tech programs and argued that on‑campus practices would reduce costs and improve participation. He asked the board to consider what safety measures would be required to allow on‑site use and said the league and partner organizations would cooperate to implement them.
Board members acknowledged receipt of the request and did not take immediate action at the meeting; the board indicated it would consider safety protocols, logistical constraints, and insurance/operational requirements before responding.
