Dr. Stoker cautioned that enrollment remains a moving target in the opening weeks.
Mr. Schneiderite presented the KinderQuest summer transition program (three days, about 2.5 hours per day). He said the program hosted 69 students this year (down from 77 the prior year) and that staff involvement and parent outreach generated 40 survey responses; all 40 respondents described their child’s experience as positive and said they would recommend the program. The program emphasized routines, bus familiarity, social skills, and classroom expectations to ease kindergarten transition.
Board members thanked administrators and praised the programs and recognition items presented. The meeting record included no major policy changes arising from the enrollment or KinderQuest reports.
