The Montoursville Area SD board voted to approve routine business items including prior meeting minutes, the transcript of a public hearing on Loyalsock Valley Elementary, treasurer's reports, budgetary transfers and invoices.
Chair (speaker 7) called for approval of the regular meeting minutes (01/14/2025) and the work-session minutes (01/28/2025). The board moved, seconded and approved the motion by voice vote. The chair then moved to approve the transcript of the 01/21/2025 public hearing on the closing of Loyalsock Valley Elementary; that motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Business manager (speaker 10) presented the treasurer's reports for the period ending 01/31/2025, submitted budgetary transfers for the general fund and a listing of invoices for the period ending 02/11/2025. Each administrative financial item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board also consolidated agenda items 7.1–7.8 and personnel items 8.1–8.3 into combined votes; those combined items were approved on motion, second and voice vote.
No recorded roll-call tallies with individual member votes were provided in the transcript; the minutes record 'all in favor, say aye' with multiple 'aye' responses and no spoken opposition during the votes. The meeting proceeded to the superintendent’s report following approvals.
Actions taken were routine approvals necessary for fiscal oversight and administrative operations; no new appropriations or policy changes were recorded in these votes.
