Keystone Oaks honors middle-school readers and a student artist

The superintendent also acknowledged the art teacher Rebecca Herson and said the student’s design was featured on the hotel’s cards and credited for its “creativity, originality and festive spirit.”
Board members in the meeting congratulated the students and encouraged continued participation in literacy and arts programs. The recognitions included a brief photoshoot and a request that parents and teachers share in congratulating the students.
No policy or budget action was taken as part of the recognitions; they were presented as part of the district’s regular meeting honors.
