District construction staff told the board the intermediate building project is progressing on schedule and is trending toward a December 2025 completion date.
"As far as the construction progress ... we're on schedule, trending towards the completion date next December," Jason Day said while walking the board through photos of work on the elevator pit, kitchen slab for a walk‑in cooler/freezer, demolition zones, new footers and steel, locker‑room masonry, drywall placement and MEP rough‑ins. He said there are no change orders for this meeting or the next and that most major equipment is on‑site or en route.
Day said roof work is on hold due to weather but can be completed once conditions improve; rooftop HVAC units are staged on site and will be lifted into place in spring. He also described plumbing, mechanical and electrical contractors’ progress on underground and above‑grade rough‑ins and exterior trenching for utilities.
Board materials referenced a target completion date of 12/01/2025 noted in the buildings and grounds update. Day closed by inviting directors to contact him with questions and said he would return with further photos next month.
