The committee discussed flexibility to form negotiation teams for different contracts and to avoid conflicts of interest by selecting appropriate members.
Board members suggested naming the team at the annual reorganization meeting while allowing the president discretion to designate members for particular bargaining units or contracts. Committee members voted by voice to send the revised Policy 005 and the attached AR to the full board for approval.
