Board members addressed a set of routine but actionable items during the meeting, including memoranda of understanding, service renewals and personnel actions.
S3 told the board that they would vote to approve a memorandum of understanding between the AIU Head Start program and the district related to ESEA/Title I services. "We will be approving the MOU between the AIU head start and district, for the every for ESEA and Title 1," S3 said.

Pupil personnel items included annual renewals for telephone voice interpretation and document translation services, renewal of virtual homebound instruction currently serving three students, and an MOU with the Borough of Dormont establishing a reunification site for evacuations. S2 summarized the items, noting this is the regular renewal cycle: "It's that time of year. Items 1 and 2, we just have 2. That's for the renewal of those 2 services we use."
Personnel business listed one resignation and several appointments including professional staff, a custodian and activity sponsors; some Project Succeed instructor appointments remained pending approval from prior meetings.
S2 also presented the finance agenda items including approval of the October accounts payable list and continuation of membership in the AIU joint purchasing program for utilities and supplies for the coming school year. The meeting transcript records a voice vote later in the session with members responding "Aye," and routine items were carried by voice vote as recorded in the meeting.
No public comment was recorded during the public-comment period. The board discussed remodeling schedules and confirmed Zoom attendance options for the next meeting.
