"For June, they totaled 3,000,000, little over $3,000,000," Karen said, and reported July payments of $790,898 and August at about $1,100,000. She said year‑to‑date general fund revenues were "a little over $9,800,000" and reported expenses as read during the meeting.
Board members asked for clarification about an August payment for Hudl. "Can we be reminded it's $8,500 — which teams are using that?" one member asked. Another said, "I just wasn't prepared for the $8,500 price tag." Administrators said Hudl is used to stream basketball games and by coaches for recording; individual athletes can access clips for recruiting, and staff will follow up with Matt for a full usage and cost breakdown.
Karen also reported transfer tax receipts (June $17,000; July $15,000; August $10,000), student activity fund reports and scholarship fund details. The district has no cafeteria operations report for the summer months.
Next steps: administration will provide a Hudl usage and cost breakdown, compare alternatives for streaming/recording tools, and supply an updated August real‑estate assessment report next week.
