School board told district will undergo Bureau of Audits review

"They're mainly gonna be looking at our bus driver qualifications, our safe schools reporting, you know, such as fire drills and bus evacuations, teacher and administrator certifications," Wilkes said.
The district expects auditors on site over the next couple of weeks, according to Wilkes. Board members did not add policy direction during the notice but acknowledged the topics auditors will review.
The board was not provided a detailed timetable in the meeting transcript; administrators said they will work with auditors and bring any required follow-up to the board as audit findings emerge.
