Board members recognized spring-sports achievements during the meeting's athletics update.
Mister Guillen (speaker 8) summarized records across teams: baseball finished 10–8 and were co-section champions; men's tennis won a section title and finished 10–1; women's track won the section and had multiple Whitfield qualifiers. Guillen highlighted the softball team’s historic accomplishments—finishing 15–7, reaching a WPIL championship and winning a PIAA playoff game for the first time in school history—and singled out pitcher Kylie Masuda, who he said “pitched 116 innings, had 139 strikeouts, and had an ERA of 1.63.” Students Morgan Alexander and Brynn Heissling briefly addressed the board and described their pride in how the season ended.
The board thanked coaches and athletes and encouraged continued support for extracurricular programs.
