The Bermudian Springs School District board accepted the resignation of school board director Travis Mathna, effective Jan. 14, 2025, and set a timetable to fill the seat by appointment. Superintendent Dr. Brad Sterner said the district will mail postcards to residents of the affected region (York Springs Borough and Huntington Township) and will accept candidate applications by Feb. 7, with interviews scheduled for Feb. 11 and the goal of naming a replacement within 30 days to serve the roughly 10-month unexpired term.
