Blackhawk SD board approves minutes, opens personnel consent item and adds field trips to consent agenda

Chair (S5) moved to approve the minutes from the Sept. 18 voting meeting; the motion was seconded and the board voted aye, with the motion carrying. Later, Mr. Dusiak (S3) moved to open the personnel consent item assigned to 1 9.2; that motion was seconded and carried.
The board also approved adding item 10.1 to the consent agenda for the Oct. 16 voting meeting. The item includes multiple student field trips (listed in the packet as Minneapolis, Harrisburg and other destinations); the motion to add the trips to the consent agenda was moved and seconded and passed.
On compliance items the board reviewed an informational update on a staff device lease; S5 said the district is recognizing a discount on staff leases over three months totalling $36,660.30.
What happens next: the consent agenda additions and personnel items will appear on the Oct. 16 voting meeting agenda for formal action.
