The Sheridan School District board approved several routine procurement awards and governance items in a group of action items during the meeting. Motions to extend or award RFPs for dairy, Cisco (food and non-food supplies) and Goodyman (bread) were moved and seconded and passed with recorded "aye" votes.
Trustees also approved the district board calendar for 2024–25 and accepted the board-superintendent operating agreement and organizational procedures for the coming year. Votes were recorded as carried by the board without dissent.
The fiscal officer reported that audit work is planned for November and noted a recent finance-system upgrade; one finance staff member has resigned effective Sept. 3, and some duties will be redistributed part-time while staffing is evaluated.
Motions recorded in the meeting packet included standard procurement language and were passed by formal roll call.
