Projected enrollments for other levels were presented as 242 students in grades 6–8 and 406 students in kindergarten through grade 5, for a district projected total near 916 students.
The presenter explained how district transfer allowances are counted in the projections and that some projected counts already include expected transfers: "That would be the number with the allowance included in it," the presenter said when describing the projection columns. Trustees asked whether current transfer lists were already counted and the presenter confirmed some are included; board members discussed likelihood of specific incoming students and the size of waiting lists.
Board members emphasized the need for ongoing monitoring and clarified that projections are contingent on students returning next year and on the number of incoming transfers.
