Ontario High senior Itzel Hernandez Quinones receives national migrant scholarship, speaks to board

The board also voted to approve a routine field trip to the Oregon State University 4‑H multicultural camp that will include district students and staff supervision.
The presentation highlighted the district's migrant education supports and the role of scholarship programs in advancing postsecondary opportunities for students from farmworker families. Trustees encouraged Itzel to return and speak to future students.
