Oakland SD 1 board approves FFA national trip, authorizes grant applications and accepts state award

Chris Kaiser, the district’s new FFA teacher, told the board the chapter plans to travel Oct. 26–Nov. 1 to attend the National FFA Convention and related events. "Leah competes Wednesday morning," Kaiser said, describing travel that will take the team through Nashville to Indianapolis. The board moved and voted to approve the out-of-state travel request.
