Miss Allen, presenting the Business and Fiscal Services report through Aug. 31, reviewed historical ADMw figures, the state school fund allocation and projected fund balances. She told the board the district’s current ADMw used for funding stood at approximately 24,80.7 and that the state school fund allocation for the year is $19,000,006.12.
She said preliminary audit work suggests the district will close the 24–25 year closer to $5.4 million in the beginning fund balance for 25–26 — roughly $600,000 higher than the budgeted beginning fund balance — and that the board would see a supplemental budget to reflect those changes. Allen emphasized that the majority of the additional funds would be applied to salary expenditures related to collective bargaining agreements.
Directors asked clarifying questions about ADM versus enrollment and how projections might be revised; Allen explained ADM (average daily membership) differs from raw enrollment and that she will adjust estimates if current enrollment trends continue.
