Lebanon SD to begin bargaining in February for certified and classified teams

District staff provided an update that bargaining with both certified and classified employee groups is scheduled to begin in February.
A staff member said, “We're getting ready to start up bargaining, starting in February with both of our certified and classified teams,” and asked that board members serve on bargaining teams (Tom for certified, Nicole for classified). Staff explained that the first meeting will set ground rules and identify which contract articles each side intends to open. Staff and board members also said they are still working on exact dates and on whether certain article exchanges will occur at the initial meeting.
One board member noted they might need to miss some sessions for medical reasons. Staff said more detailed scheduling and preparation will occur before the next regular board meeting.
