"I'm requesting the approval of the RFP for design work for the seismic upgrade project at 7 Oak," Will said.
Chair Pylen asked for a motion. A board member moved to approve ZCS Incorporated and the motion was seconded. When Chair Pylen called for those in favor, the seconder said "Aye," followed by Chair Pylen also saying "Aye." The board carried the motion to approve ZCS Incorporated for the RFP.
The approval directs staff to proceed with contracting and next steps for the design procurement. Will said ZCS was instrumental in the districtsecuring the earlier grant and had performed the initial work that led to that successful grant application.
The board gave no public comment on the item. The action clears the way for the district to finalize a contract with ZCS and begin design work on the 7 Oak seismic project; the meeting record did not include a read-out of a full roll-call vote or a detailed tally by named board member beyond the vocal "ayes" noted on the record.
