The superintendent said the precinct breakdown shows growing voter trust across commissioner-district areas after several years of outreach.
He also noted the board's follow-up steps, including scheduled meetings with city and state transportation officials (ODOT) regarding site planning and traffic for the planned East Side elementary school, and encouraged board members to attend an OSSBA Region 6 meeting on Sept. 26. The superintendent said district staff will continue to analyze precinct and turnout data and to provide updates to the board.
The next procedural step is routine monitoring and staff follow-up on transportation/traffic planning and attendance outreach work.
