Personnel actions included acceptance of the resignation of bus driver Melissa Janice, effective Jan. 1, 2026; hires of substitutes and supplemental contracts for the 2025'1026 school year (examples named in the meeting), and volunteer approvals for extracurricular roles. The board also approved the open enrollment policy for the 2026'1027 school year (application window Jan. 15—Apr. 30, 2026), and the recommended 2026'1027 school calendar. The board approved an appointment of Bruce Beadle to a regional board term beginning Jan. 1, 2026 and ending Dec. 21, 2028; the staff member said Beadle may provide quarterly updates.
