The board also approved four appropriation modifications tied to updated federal grants (special education, Title I, preschool and Title II); the chair characterized the changes as minor, “maybe $1,000 one direction or the other.”
Also on the consent list, the board approved new substitutes for aides and custodial staff, a first batch of supplemental employment assignments for tutors and coaches, and grants of JV and ninth-grade coaching assignments for fall 2025 programs.
Votes were recorded orally during the meeting and responded to in the affirmative; the chair called for each motion and members answered in turn. No motions were tabled or defeated during the consent portion of the agenda.
