Chagrin Falls board approves routine policies, contracts including $167,350 paving award

The board also approved replacement and rekeying of locks on the grades 7–12 campus, citing staff confirmation that ADA compliance had been reviewed; an addendum to a KidsLink student-support contract; College Credit Plus memorandum of understanding with Cuyahoga Community College; and contracts for student trips and event services (NOAC Tours, Burning River DJ/photo booth).
Administration told trustees that the ParentSquare communications platform will replace the district’s outgoing system; the board approved a short-term SchoolMessenger agreement to run during the transition to ensure emergency-calling continuity.
A personnel package including volunteer approvals, additional certified hours, resignations, and supplemental athletic contracts was approved as presented. The board also voted to terminate a classified employee on probationary status effective Feb. 18, 2026; the action was described in agenda materials as consistent with the referenced contract provision.
