Athletic training contract: Trustees approved a renewal with Kettering Health for athletic‑training services (described as a "gold" package) that provides 1.5 athletic trainers, a part‑time strength/conditioning coach and periodic physician fellow coverage for high‑contact contests. Board members noted that many hospitals recently moved to a charging model after previously offering service at low or no cost; administration said the contract helps manage injury risk and is recommended by insurers and OHSAA guidelines.
