Board members reported the 77 gym’s lower bleachers are installed and the seating on the lower section has been placed. The presenter said the athletic storage building is on schedule to be accessible by the end of November and that the primary K–2 addition should be dried in and ready for interior work by the end of the calendar year.
Discussion touched on finishing steps still required: installation of electricity, garage doors and interior partitioning, and interior fencing to create separate sections. The board reviewed color and material samples and asked about court markings; staff said the dominant lines will reflect regulation high‑school side courts to reduce visual clutter from multiple competing sport markings.
Separately, the district reviewed a revised scope for district-office renovations — including a front secure vestibule, a consolidated registration/waiting area and minor office reconfiguration to create small-group intervention and conference spaces. Board members discussed a summer construction timeline but flagged fiscal-year constraints that could delay major work until after June 30.
No formal vote on construction spending was taken at the meeting; staff said a revised estimate and more detailed schedule were included in the packet for future action.
