Amanda-Clearcreek students recognized: FFA chapter earns national gold and student liaison lists activities

“We are extremely proud of everything she has accomplished,” Peter Smith said, noting the chapter hosted a state officer leadership night with 275 students in attendance and is preparing fundraisers and a fruit-and-snack pickup for customers.
Ellie Moss, the board’s high school student liaison, summarized a busy month for students: varsity and junior varsity basketball scrimmages, a kindness week run by the National Honor Society, the journalism club’s nineteenth issue, and music and drama events ahead of winter. She also said NHS members are raising money for the Wounded Warriors project by offering errands and chores to staff and community members.
Separately, a public commenter highlighted that a district student’s jacket (Amanda Quidrick) and alumna appearances received national television exposure at the National FFA Convention—a reminder to the board of the district’s continued student successes on state and national stages.
The board acknowledged the reports and encouraged continued community support for student activities.
