The Amanda‑Clearcreek Local School District Board of Education approved a slate of consent and contractual items during its meeting.
Personnel consent items included approval of a retirement (Tracy Sharp after 35 years), substitute lists, supplemental employment for 2024–25, salary placement changes for staff who completed advanced degrees, and volunteer approvals. The board also accepted a $5,000 STEM grant from Mattel; staff thanked the employees who worked to secure that funding.
The board approved an engagement letter with Ray Associates to perform the district’s Medicaid audit for fiscal years 2024–2026. Staff explained the auditor works with the district’s third‑party administrator for Medicaid billing (HBS) and noted the contract fees are modest.
Board members approved a memorandum of understanding for mentor teachers and a five‑year server hosting/managed services agreement with Meta Solutions to move the majority of servers to a hosted/cloud environment while retaining two on‑site servers for utility functions.
Each of the above motions was moved, seconded and approved by roll call as listed in the agenda attachments.
