Tri Valley board approves 2025–29 support‑staff contract, $1.1M warrant and several district contracts

At its June 12 meeting the Tri Valley Central School District Board of Education approved several fiscal and contract items, including a multi‑year contract with support staff, a large warrant payment, and procurement actions for the coming year.

The board unanimously approved the 2025–2029 collective bargaining agreement between the district and the Tri Valley Essential Support Staff Association. No roll call details beyond a unanimous vote were recorded in the public portion of the meeting.

During the consent agenda the board approved Warrant Number 29 and the associated claims order report, authorizing payment of $1,100,899.06. Board members discussed a numbering discrepancy in the resolution language but confirmed the warrant number and proceeded with the vote.

On contracts and procurement the board took these actions: - Approved the 2025–2026 preschool related services contract with the County of Sullivan to provide speech, occupational and physical therapy for preschool‑age children; the county funds those services for children who are not yet school‑age eligible for district special education services.
