The President called a motion to approve minutes for Oct. 2, 2024, and the motion was seconded and approved by the board. District announcements included community highlights: a Troy High senior received media attention for carpentry work raising funds for Honor Flights; Troy High seniors were informed of guaranteed acceptance to Hudson Valley Community College at a district event; Carroll Hill students will again receive free books through Books and Homes USA; and local firefighters conducted fire-prevention visits. The board also reminded the public that upcoming meetings will start at 6 p.m. and listed November meeting locations.
